April 16, Wednesday Morning Forecast

Welcome to Wednesday!
Good morning! Another front is set to cruise across the area, but don't worry, it won't be like the last one.

For today, winds from the southwest at 10 to 20mph will shift back around to the north into the afternoon and evening for the city of Amarillo as the next front sags south. Afternoon highs south of I-40 will cruise into the 70s with a few spotty 80s. North of I-40 60s and 70s will be more likely. Here in Amarillo we'll top out at 77.

Tomorrow, behind this next guy, there is a chance for rain for some of our northern counties and some cloud cover for everyone else. We might catch a few passing sprinkles in town, but for the most part we will remain dry.

Afternoon highs will be held in check on Thursday with the cloud cover and north winds. Across the area 50s and 60s will be the story. Here in Amarillo, we'll top out at 58.
