Houston Man Killed in Panhandle Crash

DPS Troopers say Speed was a Factor
ARMSTRONG COUNTY -- A Houston man is dead after DPS troopers say he was speeding and crashed his car.

It happened Saturday night in Armstrong county, just east of Claude on highway 287.

Troopers say Guadalupe Sigala, 32, was speeding down the road and lost control of his pickup, and slid across the center median of the highway.  That's when his truck was hit by an 18-wheeler.

Sigala was taken to the hospital, but died from his injuries Monday.
