Christmas is right around the corner, and the Salvation Army is asking for your help so that less people go without this holiday season.
This years annual red kettle campaign is shorter, and the salvation army says they've seen an increase in requests for assistance this christmas.
Donations are down 20% compared to this time last year.
The Salvation Army is asking folks to be generous when they see the red kettle.
They're also asking local businesses to take a kettle to work.
