Former POWs to be Honored at Amarillo VA

The lunch was to give thanks for their bravery and selflessness.
AMARILLO -- 40 to 45 known former Prisoners of War in the Texas and Oklahoma Panhandles, eastern New Mexico and southern Kansas invited to come to the VA for a lunch in their honor. 

The lunch was to give thanks for their bravery and selflessness, 

Former POWs will be traveling from Matador, Lubbock, White Deer, Dumas, Clovis, Farwell, and Liberal to attend. Each has a unique story.

It is estimated there are less than 30,000 former POWs across the country now.
