Fannin Middle School will host a History Festival on Saturday from 9 am till 3 pm. Admission is $2 fro adults and $1 for students.
The festival will feature 400 exhibits created by Fannin Middle School Students.
Some notable visitors include The Society for Creative Anachronism, who will demonstrate a medieval camp and battles. The Plum Creek Brigade will practice crafts of 1800s mountain men. The Scottish Celtic Heritage Society will be present with a bagpipe and flautist. Educators from the Square House Museum in Carson County will have a display. There will also be re-enactments of soldiers in action during the Revolutionary War, Civil War, and World War II, glass blowing, live jazz music, belly dancing, and more.
