AUSTIN -- More than 100 historic family farms and ranches in the lone star state are honored, today; including several from here on the high plains.
The honors were presented during the 38th Annual Family Land Heritage Ceremony.
Agriculture commissioner Todd staples was on hand to recognize these farms including three in Childress County, two in Gray, Hartley and Hemphill County. Also one in Armstrong and Hansford County.
