KnightEscortPhoto2007-03-13-1173822529.jpgJudge Hal Miner has set a date for the execution of Patrick Bryan Knight. Knight is now scheduled to die by lethal injection on June 26th in Huntsville.  He was convicted in the double murder of Walter and Mary Werner back in 1991. The Werner's bodies were found on Masterson Road near their Claude home. Investigators think they were shot on the road  and dragged into a culvert.  Knight was the Werner's next door neighbor.  He was 19 at the time.  Out of the 387 people on death row in Texas, seven are from Potter County while three are from Randall.
