(NBC News) Much of the eastern United States spent Wednesday dealing with several inches of snow and frigid temperatures.
It's the second winter storm of the year, and just like the first the Northeast is once again snowed-in and in some cases frozen solid.
Stretching more than a thousand miles from Kentucky to Massachusetts, the storm dumped more than a foot of snow in some areas.
Philadelphia took a direct hit, receiving more than 13 inches of snow in less than 24 hours.
