Wildfires Nearly Contained

Oklahoma Governor Mary Fallin has imposed a state-wide burning ban as crews work to fully contain deadly wildfires.
(NBC News)  After working around the clock for more than two days Oklahoma firefighters say they have nearly contained a deadly wildfire.

The fire burning near Guthrie destroyed or damaged 20 homes and claimed the life of one resident who refused to obey evacuation orders.

Johnny Knox gave his pick-up truck to neighbors and stayed to fight as the flames rushed in.

"He'll be missed," his brother Jack says.  "I think he probably went back in there to get his dog and the smoke probably overtook him."
