(WBAL) One of Delaney Bosworth's favorite parts of the week is her aqua-therapy session at Kennedy Krieger. Delaney is teaching her body to walk again after she suddenly collapsed and became paralyzed three years ago.
"I didn't know what was happening. I was very scared. No one knew what was happening, and that was the scary part," Delaney told 11 News reporter Kim Dacey.
Delaney was eventually diagnosed with a rare condition called transverse myelitis, or TM. Doctors believe her condition stemmed from a virus that attacked her spinal cord.
