The Amarillo Venom ended its two game losing streak with a 44-33 win over New Mexico on Saturday.

With the win Amarillo improves to 4-4 and is currently in third place in the Lone Star Football League.

The Venom have a bye this weekend but will return to the field for a busy month of June.  Amarillo will host West Texas on June 7th.  Then travel to Rio Grande Valley on the 14th before returning for its final regular-season home game on June 21st.  The Venom will end the season on June 28th at West Texas.
