Update: Xcel Continues to Restore Service in Fritch

Xcel has replaced 130 power poles so far.
UPDATE 5/15/14 -- Xcel continues to bring power to fritch.

Today xcel focused on rebuilding the feeder systems.

So far they've replaced 130 poles.

They're now turning their attention back to the homes that are without power.

Xcel is offering temporary service connections to customers.

An engineer will be at Fritch City Hall tomorrow night.

UPDATE  5/14/14 -- Xcel anticipates they will have 118 poles replaced at days end.

Officials say this will allow them to get the distribution backbone up and running again in the lake communities affected by fire.

Xcel will now go house to house restoring power.

FRITCH 5/11/14 -- Xcel replaced 65 poles without any injuries or incidents Tuesday and restored service to six customers. 

Xcel plans to restore service to more than 60 people today. 

Xcel plans to provide temporary service to customers who lost their homes but still need power at their property for cleanup and possibly for temporary accommodations. One engineer is working at Fritch City Hall and two are in the field making these arrangements.
