UPDATE 1:18 P.M. --  After releasing these photos today, several APD employees recognized the male suspect. The female was also identified as a result. 

This case is an ongoing investigation. 

If a warrant is issued or an arrest is made, further updates will be released.

AMARILLO – Amarillo Police are investigating June 5 theft.

Police believe, the people photographed, are involved in the theft of thousands of dollars’ worth of storm chasing equipment taken from a vehicle just before storm sirens went off on June 6.

The suspect used the victim's credit card to buy a 50" TV at the Wal-Mart located at 4215 Canyon Dr.
