AMARILLO -- The United Way of Amarillo and Canyon is giving several non-profits a big boost.
Today, they announced they raised more than $5-million through their capital campaign.
And more than $2.8-million of that will be given to local groups.
Officials say more than 80 experts helped decide where the money would go.
The money will go to 211 Texas, Guyon Saunders Resource Center, and to the State Employee Charitable Campaign, among others.
