Uber has changed the world of transportation but can it cater to your drug store needs?
The company announced a trial service in Washington, D.C. that offers on-demande delivery of medicine and other drug store products.
Here's how it works: Users select the "corner store" option in the Uber app.
Uber then sends a text message with a link to a items available for purchase.
An Uber driver then calls you to take your order and upon delivery, the purchase is charged to your Uber account.
Uber follows Amazon and Google who are both testing the same-day delivery market.
