AMARILLO -- Amarillo Police arrested 20-year-old Jeffrey Alexis Vivar and 18-year-old Jaime Ubaldo Caraveo for burglary early saturday morning.
A resident witnessed one man enter into a home in the 600 block of S. Vernon on a burglary in progress.
The witness contacted the home owner, who was not at the residence, and told him that he had seen a man enter the home, near the back door.
Police say the suspects had entered the home by removing a window air conditioning unit.
The suspects left television sets and other items from the home stacked by the back door when they left. A laptop computer was missing.
The two suspects matched the physical description the original witness provided to the home owner, and officers found shoe prints that matched the men’s shoes in the back yard of the home.
Vivar was booked into the Potter County Detention Center for burglary of a habitation.
Caraveo was also booked at PCDC for burglary. He also had misdemeanor warrants connected to a class B theft charge, a probation violation for theft warrant, and two warrants stemming from failure to attend school charges issued though the Justice of the Peace court.
Officers are still seeking the red pickup and a third suspect involved in this incident. There is no information available on the third suspect at this time.
