If you're looking to splurge on travel this year, you're not alone.
A new survey from travel website TripAdvisor shows people around the world are planning to boost their spending.
Travelers expect to spend on average a little more than $6,000 this year-- up three percent from last year.
Australians plan to spend the most -- double the average.

TripAdvisor surveyed 61,000 people in 26 countries.
