Three People Arrested Wednesday on Multiple Carges

Amarillo SWAT searches storage facility and finds a a small amount of methamphetamine and a shotgun.
AMARILLO -- On Tuesday, Kenneth Paul Farmer, 36, was charged with hindering apprehension. The charge stems from January 22 search for Michael Wills Dibiase in a building at 3914 NW 12th.

Farmer is accused of covering up a hole in a wall in the building so Dibiase could move into a part of the building.

On Wednesday, APD SWAT officers located Farmer at a shop housed in a storage facility at 8701 Soncy.  They took Farmer into custody on the felony warrant.  He was found to be in possession of methamphetamine.  He was booked into the Randall County Jail on the warrant and for possession of more than one but less than four grams of methamphetamine.

Leigh Urban Gonzales, 34, was arrested at the same location for possession of over 4 grams of methamphetamine, possession of drug paraphernalia, and a traffic warrant.

Aaron Brent Williams WM 39 was also at the arrest scene.  He was wanted on a probation violation warrant stemming from a narcotics charge.  He was arrested and booked into the Potter County Detention Center.

Officers used evidence gathered in the arrests to secure a search warrant for the shop.  That search led to the discovery of a small amount of methamphetamine and a shotgun.
