Five people are dead after a shooting rampage in near Dallas.
TERRELL --  Five people are dead after a shooting rampage in near Dallas.
The suspect, Charles Brownlow, was taken into custody this morning after police say he killed his mother, aunt, and three others.
The shootings happened at several locations in Terrell.
Police believe one of the shootings was random; a store clerk was shot and killed at a convenience store, police say Brownlow then took off in a vehicle he'd stolen from an earlier location.
Chief Jody Lay, Terrell Police Chief said, "We're gonna get through it, we're resilient we're gonna rise above it, we're gonna get through it. This is a country community, a rural community, people are real close, this is gonna have a really big impact on us."
Police say Brownlow fled into a wooded area where he bailed out of a stolen vehicle and hid.
Officials then used infrared cameras to find him.
