AMARILLO -- Sixth Street will be getting some new signage.
The City Commissioners approved an agreement between Southwest Public Services and the historic Sixth Street Route 66 association today to put up decorative signs on light poles owned by SPS.
The Historic Association will be footing the bill for the signs and their maintenance.
The city had to approve the agreement because the light poles are within the cities right of way.
