Shooting Incident at Fort Hood

Emergency crews are on the scene.
FORT HOOD --     At least four people are dead and as many as eleven others are injured after a shooting at the Fort Hood army base.
    The shooting took place at fort hood's medical brigade building.
    Officials say three victims were killed and the shooter is dead.
    The shooter has been identified as 34-year-old Ivan Lopez and officials said he died from a self inflicted gunshot wound.
    Officials say the gunman shot at several others.
    In 2009, the army base at fort hood was the sight of another mass shooting in which 13 soldiers were killed and more than 30 others wounded.
    Army Major Nidal Hasan was convicted of those killings and sentenced to death.
FORT HOOD -- The Directorate of Emergency Services says they received a report that the shooter is dead, but as of about ten minutes ago, they still say that is unconfirmed.
        According to the Fort Hood Press Center, the injured personnel are being transported to Carl R. Darnall Medical Center and other local hospitals. Numerous law enforcement agencies are in support and on the scene. The number of injured are not confirmed at this time. No further details are known at this time.
