Hello and good Tuesday morning folks. Low clouds and fog are covering much of the area today after yesterday's cold front moved through. Take a little extra time to head to school and work because of the fog, but we'll be pretty cloudy once again today.
Winds will come back from the south in the afternoon with highs reaching the upper 70s and lower 80s under mostly cloudy skies. Showers will stay south of the High Plains but we'll continue to be humid, thanks to moisture from Tropical Storm Odile off the Mexican coast.
Again tomorrow, we'll see rain staying just south of the area as temperatures get back to above-average levels, in the 80s and lower 90s.
The tropical storm then moves toward our neck of the woods, bringing a chance for thunderstorms on Thursday, with all-day showers for Friday. Highs will decrease to the 70s by Friday afternoon.
This weekend, the rain moves out and a cold front moves in to keep us in the 70s until the early part of next week.
Have a great day!
