September 16, Tuesday Evening Forecast

Good Tuesday evening everyone.

Good Tuesday afternoon. The weak cold front that drifted through yesterday will dissipate south of the Panhandles today. However, tropical moisture will continue to stream in over the region from the southwest, complements of Hurricane Odile paralleling the outer shores of the Baja of California. Some of this moisture may result in pockets of sprinkles or light rain early this morning with temperatures in the 50s and low 60s. As the day unfolds, an overcast sky will continue with periodic sun breaks. Thundershowers will be hit and miss with a mix of 70s and low 80s. Tomorrow and Thursday will follow suit with a slight chance for rain and highs in the low to mid 80s. Friday and the weekend may see an uptick in moisture (40 to 50%), with scattered showers and thunderstorms. Temperatures will continue pleasant with a blend of 70s and low 80s.
