Just in time for severe wather season, the Don Harrington Discovery Center is breaking down the science of storms for you and me to see.
March 8 wrapped up weathering the storm, the science of severe weather event, with our own Chief Meteorologist John Harris on hand to teach people about severe weather season.
Officials with the Red Cross spoke as well, presenting what they do when the weather's at it's worst.
Texas Panhandle Red Cross volunteer Karen Tomlinson says, "we always want to be present in the community when the focus is being directed towards severe weather events and preparedness."
Presenters were Chief Meteorologist John Harris, officials with the Red Cross, National Weather Service, and EF-5 shelters.
