Roosevlet County Individual Health Insurance Seminar Planned

Anyone who has not enrolled by March 31, 2014 will have to wait until the next open enrollment period at the end of the year.
PORTALES -- The Roosevelt County Chamber in conjunction with La Casa Family Health Center and the Association of Commerce and Industry is hosting seminars on individual healthcare insurance today at 1:30 p.m. and 6 p.m. at the Yam Theatre in downtown Portales. 

The seminar will be led by Steve Morgan, a representative of the New Mexico Health Insurance Exchange he will discuss the various options that are available now for individuals and families under the new Affordable Care Act (Obamacare).
 
Anyone who has not enrolled by March 31, 2014 will have to wait until the next open enrollment period at the end of the year. 

Individuals who will be screened and/or enrolled should bring the following documents: 
  • Birth certificate or citizenship documents 
  • Photo ID 
  • Social Security numbers 
  • Proof of household income 
  • Last years tax returns with W-2s 
  • Recent check stubs (last month) 
  • Email address
