Relocating Borger Walmart Hiring 80 for New Jobs

The store will be hiring both full- and part-time associates.
BORGER -- Walmart will hire approximately 80 associates to work at the relocating Walmart slated to re-open this fall in Borger at Roosevelt and Opal Streets. A temporary hiring kiosk has opened inside the current store at 1401 W. Wilson St.

Applications will be accepted from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m., seven days a week. Interested applicants may also apply online at http://careers.walmart.com

Through Walmart’s Veterans Welcome Home Commitment, the company will offer a job to any qualified veteran who has been honorably discharged within the past 12 months.* Interested veterans may find out more at http://walmartcareerswithamission.com.

According to store manager Summer Covington, the store will be hiring both full- and part-time associates. “This relocation is exciting for our community, and I am looking forward to meeting potential associates who will make the customer experience even better,” said Covington.

The majority of new associates will begin work in September to help prepare the store for its grand re-opening.
