Primary Runoffs in Oklahoma

There are many things on tonight's ballot.
OKLAHOMA CITY --  Some early results to tell you about, now.

        For Beaver County, Frank King is the projected winner for Commissioner District 3. King will be on the ballot as a Republican. He came in with more than 56% of the vote.

        In Turpin, the nearly $2 million dollar school bond has passed. Voters affirmed the bond, with a 59% to 41% vote.
      
 Statewide, the Superintendent of Public Instruction on the Democratic side, we can project that John Cox will be on the ballot in November. He won that nomination against education veteran, Freda Deskin.

        Also statewide, on the Democratic side, the nominee for the open U.S. Senate seat will be Connie Johnson.
        Johnson beat perennial candidate, Jim Rogers for the spot on the November 4th ballot.
        
       For State Representative District 61 on the Republican side, we can project Casey Murdock wins that nomination, with more than 59% of the vote.
      
 

OKLAHOMA CITY -- It's time to cast your ballot in the primary runoffs for people in Oklahoma.

Polls are still open until seven.

There are many things on tonight's ballot.

The Beaver School Board is looking to pass an almost $2-million bond.

People can also vote for US Senator and State Representative for District 61.
