AUSTIN --  Results are in for tonight's state primary runoff elections.
           In the republican race for Lieutenant Governor, incumbent, David Dewhurst is facing State Senator Dan Patrick.
    Senator Patrick leads with 79% of precincts reporting.
Dewhurst has held a statewide political office since 1999.


    In the Republican primary for Attorney General, State Senator Ken Paxton is leading the primary with 83% of precincts reporting, with 64% percent of the vote.
    Paxton was widely endorsed by Tea Party Republican Senator Ted Cruz.
    Representative Dan branch has served in the House of Representatives since 2002.
   
Other races on the ballot included Commissioner of Agriculture.
In the Republican race, State Representative Sid Miller is leading Representative Tommy Merritt with 83% of precincts reporting.
 On the Democratic primary runoff for Ag Commissioner...
    Jim hogan is leads opponent Kinky Friedman.


 Another major race on the ballot is Railroad Commissioner Place Two.
 In the republican primary, Ryan Sitton is leading with 83% of precincts reporting.
    While Tea Party backed Wayne Christian has 43%  percent of the vote.
    And finally, in the Democratic race for US Senate, Dr. David Alameel is the frontrunner, leading with 73% of the vote.
