Potter County Sheriff's Deputies were dispatched to 210 W. Mobley, unit 29 around 9:30 pm Monday night. It was reported that an ambulance was needed because someone had been shot.
When deputies arrived on scene, they found a male who was deceased. A woman was also present and she was detained by law enforcement. Officials say it appeared the man had a possible gunshot wound to his upper body. He was declared dead on scene by paramedics. An autopsy has been ordered.
Janice Mae Sicard, age 65, was booked into the Potter County Correction Center for Murder. Special Crimes is investigating and asks anyone with information to call (806) 378-9468.
