Each month Suddenlink Communications joins Studio 4 in shining the spotlight on people in the area who make a major difference in our community.

"Suddenlink believes there are everyday heroes, and we think it's important to give them the recognition they deserve," Angie Carson, of Suddenlink said.

"Certainly one of the most important groups is our area teachers.  Teachers are a vital part of our society, and deserve a big thank-you.  Suddenlink would like to personally thank our community's school personnel for all they do."

So how can you show teachers how much you and your children appreciate them?  Two outstanding AISD educators, Paula Bagwell and Ann Shofner, came up with a list of key actions to make sure parents are setting kids up for success at school.
