From morning flag duties to making sure his classroom cabinets at Alice Landergin are stocked with supplies, Joshua Howell is always around to lend a helping hand, and that's why he's the People Helping People: Junior Program winner this month.

Josh was nominated by his teacher 5th grade teacher, Kalette James, at Alice Landergin Elementary School.  Here's her nomination:

He is one of the kindest kids I know! He and his family often help with Snack Pack for Kids and brought over 100 cans of food to school for our school food drive! He helps out at his family's Auto Body Shop. When we are running low on supplies, Josh always brings more to school the very next day! He has helped stock our shelves with tissues and pencils. He also helps with school duties such as flags and breakfast distribution each morning. Teachers are so blessed to have him around! He's obviously very responsible, and most importantly, he has this incredible cheerfulness which inspires everyone around him-- young and old. Not a week has gone by that Josh hasn't asked me, "Do you need anything?" I truly can't think of a better person for this award. If you ever have the pleasure of meeting Josh yourself, I'm sure you will agree!
