(WBAL) Peeps, those sugary marshmallow are a thing of art in Carroll County, Maryland, where the seventh annual "Peep Show" has opened.
More than 170 exhibit entries, most of which are dioramas, were created in all shapes and sizes using Peeps, from just a few to nearly 2,000. They're on display at the Carroll Arts Center.
"Some of them are engineering marvels. They're truly masterpieces," says Carroll Arts Center Director Sandy Oxx. "We have a Peep lighthouse. We have the leg lamp from 'A Christmas Story.' Of course we have many of the characters from 'Frozen' this year. We have an incredible Maryland Terp, and we have a mutant ninja turtle."
