The symposium was put on by the pen project, and was free for all.
Parents were informed on behavior analysis, some tips on sensory integration, and how to identify dysgraphia.

Sara McBeath says, "it's very important because they can give some sort of advice to the families to help get them through their situation."
The symposium also included a resource fair that lasted throughout the day.
