CLOVIS -- City officials in Clovis say the third time might be the last time for a jail bond election.
A $9.8 million bond failed in a municipal election for the third time.
More than 66-percent of voters turned down the bond that would have built a new jail facility somewhere other than downtown Clovis.
Curry County Commissioner Ben McDaniel says they plan on running things as they currently are and that right now, there are no plans to try a fourth election.
