(WHDH) After Dzhokhar Tsarnaev emerged from the boat in Watertown investigators got their first look at what he wrote inside.

Tsarnaev's words are revealed in new court documents filed by the US Attorney's Office.

The accused bomber wrote he was jealous of his dead brother Tamerlan.

"I do not mourn because his soul is very much alive. God has a plan for each person. Mine was to hide in this boat and shed some light on our actions."
