Mystery Surrounds Cadaver Raid

Federal investigators aren't releasing details on last week's raid of an Arizona body donation center.
(KPNX)  It's been one week since the FBI raided a whole body donation center in Phoenix, Arizona and investigators still aren't commenting on what they were looking for.

The state Attorney General's office says it's still sifting through all the evidence it recovered at the business and won't have an update for weeks.

But Biological Resource Center is fighting back.

Owner Stephen Gore updated the company's website with a statement criticizing the investigation.

It reads in part:

"On January 21, 2014, the FBI and members of the Attorney General's Office visited Biological Resource Center of Arizona with a search and seizure warrant.  Our staff willingly cooperated and answered all of their questions without counsel and we will continue to cooperate with the authorities to the best of our abilities.  As per the Attorney's General message to the public, little information has been made available.  This lack of information has led many to speculate and to make incorrect conclusions.  We hope to know more within the coming days and weeks, at which time we will provide additional information."

Biological Resource Center does not provide organs for transplantation, but instead provides cadavers and parts for medical research.

The Attorney General's office will only say it's a year-long investigation and they hope to be able to release more information in two or three weeks.
