Amarillo is included on list of states most congested roadways
The annual study ranks traffic on nearly 1,800 road segments across Texas

The Texas A&M Transportation Institute will publish its annual analysis of the states most congested roadways on August 29, for the first time ranking nearly 1,800 corridors in 24 regions across Texas. The study provides detailed mobility information for specific cities throughout the state, and illustrates how traffic congestion is no longer simply a big-city problem.
The information includes numerous congestion measures, such as:
·Annual person-hours of delay
·Annual person-hours of delay caused by trucks
·Annual fuel wasted due to congestion
·Annual congestion cost
