(NBC News) Twelve days after Malaysian Air Flight 370 disappeared with 239 people aboard, there could be a breakthrough.
Two objects seen by a satellite look like pieces of the plane.
U.S. and Australian teams are trying to find them.
Still, experts caution this could be a false alarm.
The goal is to find floating pieces of the airliner, calculate how far they drifted in the 12 days since flight 370 disappeared and send probes to the ocean floor for the cockpit voice recorder, flight data recorder and the main wreckage.
