TUCUMCARI -- A New Mexico College is selected to help with major water research.
Mesalands Community College in Tucumcari was one of three colleges selected in that state.
It's a collaborative program for New Mexico, Idaho, and Nevada.
Nikki Vazquez, a wind energy technology graduate, and Gretchen Gurtler, a faculty member, will both help with research.
They will receive scholarship money to help fund the research.
Their researching at the Conchas Dam.
