AMARILLO -- A local wind energy company is helping power a Dallas college campus.

And they're doing it with a special group of turbines that'll be tied together.

Hydro-Star will bring energy to El Centro College in downtown Dallas.

They're part of a group of community colleges working on renewable energy.

Hydro-Star was asked to help develop a roof-top wind farm in a very small urban footprint.

The installation and unveiling of the turbines coincided with the school's Earth Day celebration today.
