This fire has burned another 8,200 acres and threatened buildings on two ranches in the area.
HIGGINS -- Fire crews continue to battle hot spots after a second wild fire in Lipscomb County near Higgins in two weeks.

The Lipscomb County Sheriffs Department says that yesterdays fire started less than a mile away from the fire two weeks ago that burned across the county into Oklahoma.

This fire has burned another 8,200 acres and threatened buildings on two ranches in the area.

Hot spot flare-ups caused fire crews to return to the scene today.
