Lawn Care Tips

Maintain your lawn this summer with these tips from the Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service.

The Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service offers some ways you can keep your lawn in top shape. Here in the Panhandle it's always a good idea to keep water usage in mind. Choose a type of grass that requires less water and does well in the shade.

If you have active pets and kids, find grass that's tolerant to traffic. They suggest Bermuda and Buffalo. Bermuda grass also has a high fertility which can keep your lawn full.
