Lady Buffs 2nd in LSC After Sweep of Tarelton St.

The West Texas A&M softball team is the number one team in the country, but second in the Lone Star Conference standings.

The Lady Buffs are coming off four big wins over LSC rival Tarelton State in which the Lady Buffs outscored the Texanns 46-8 in the four games and improved their LSC record to 12-4.  Angelo State is the only team with a better record in LSC play.  The Rambelles are currently 13-3 in the LSC.

WT will travel to Lubbock on Tuesday for a non-conference doubleheader with Lubbock Christian.  The Lady Buffs will return to conference play this weekend when they travel to Texas A&M-Kingsville for a three game series on Friday and Saturday.
