(NBC News) Students from University of California campuses from Los Angeles to Santa Cruz and beyond are grieving in solidarity.
Classes were canceled at schools across the state Monday to honor victim's of Friday's massacre in Isla Vista.
Faculty, staff and grief counselors were on campus to meet with students who want to talk about their loss. University of California officials say counselors will remain on site for as long as they're needed.
