HOLLYWOOD MINUTE:"Jurassic Park" Actor Dies

An iconic actor dies, A party hosted by Chris Brown turns violent, and "Guardians of the Galaxy" tops this weekends box office.
    
Iconic Actor Director Richard Attenborough has died.

According to the BBC, the actor died Sunday around mid-day.

Attenborough was one of Britain's leading actors, he appeared in the 1993 blockbuster "Jurassic Park" and directed the 1982 film "Ganhdhi"

He was 90 years old.

Singer Chris Brown is in the news again.

Brown was hosting a pre MTV Video Music Awards party at a club in Los Angeles early Sunday when gunshots went off.

Brown wasn't hurt.

Three people were wounded, including former Rap Mogul Marion "Suge" Knight.

All three are expected to recover.

At the box office this weekend:

Disney's Guardians Of The Galaxy came in at number one. It's now the number 3 movie of the year and top grossing film of the summer.

It has earned nearly $500 million worldwide.

In second place Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.

And the young adult film "If I Stay" rounds up the top three.
