HOLLYWOOD MINUTE: KISS Announces Vegas Residency

Rock icons are headed to Vegas, and a 'weird' musician releases a celeb-studded parody.
Looks like Vegas is getting ready to pucker up!

Rock legends KISS have signed on for their first-ever residency, Kiss rocks Vegas.

The group will play 9 November shows at the joint, inside the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino.

VIP passes are already on sale, tickets will be available Friday at 10 a.m.

Weird Al Yankovic is hyping his new album "Mandatory Fun", releasing 8 new videos over 8 days.

On Monday he channeled Pharrell with "Tacky," a parody of oscar-nominated "Happy."

Weird Al enlisted famous faces Eric Stonestreet, Kristen Schaal and Jack Black to call out hipsters, twerkers, and people who wear socks with sandals.

E-Online reports the album will also parody Miley Cyrus, Lorde and Robin Thicke.

Heavy metal is skewing younger.

Sony just inked a $1.7-million contract with Brooklyn metal band "Unlocking the Truth", a trio of 8th graders!

But youth doesn't equal inexperience in this case.

The boys have performed at Coachella, opened for Guns 'N Roses, and are currently part of the Vans'
Warped Tour lineup.

They're scheduled to open for Metallica at a festival in August.
