Helping the Unemployed

President Obama and CEOs of major companies announce program to help the long-term unemployed get back to work.
(NBC News)  The CEOs of eBay, Walmart, Boeing, Marriott and others went to to the White House Friday
to join President Obama's push to help the long term unemployed.

4-million Americans have been out of work for more than six months, and studies show that fact alone hurts their prospects.

As part of a new initiative to help those long term unemployed, the president has convinced 300 companies to hire without taking into account how long someone's been looking for work, and he signed an order to make that government practice.
