An Amarillo retirement home is helping out the Fritch Fire Department, with their homemade goods.
The Clairmont hosted a bake sale earlier this week, with all proceeds going toward fire recovery.
In all, they were able to raise more than $500, which was presented to the Fritch Fire Department.
Sally Vasquez, the Clairmont Community Sales and Marketing Director says, "we wanted to present it to them personally so they could be proud of what they did. I just want to say thank you to the Clairmont and our residents for being able to put this together and raise the money. "
The money will go toward the Fritch Fire Department's efforts to buy a new fire truck.
