1/2 cup (1 stick) Butter, softened
1/4 cup Brown Sugar, packed
1/2 teaspoon Vanilla
1 cup Flour
1/2 teaspoon Salt
Roll into 1 teaspoon size balls
Press your thumb into the top of each cookie
Bake 10-15 minutes at 350
Fill Thumb-Print with your choice of filling (jam, icing, ect.)
Cream Cheese IcingIngredients:
1/2 cup (1 stick) Butter, room temperature
8 ounces Cream Cheese (1 pkg), room temperature
2-3 cups Powdered Sugar
1 teaspoon Vanilla
Cream butter and cream cheese together until smooth (about 3 minutes).
Add vanilla and powdered sugar, and mix together until all incorporated.
