Google's executive chairman says he wants to give the world a one million dollar technology upgrade.
In an interview with CBS, Eric Schmidt the money would help other companies improve their communication technology.
He also says this is in line with Google's vision to connect the world.
Schmidt did not say which companies would receive the cash.
This comes just days after Google announced it's going to install Google Fiber, the company's high speed internet network in nine major US cities.
